Xhorse VVDI BIM Tool read BMW N20 ISN Success

 Today we are going to read the ISN code from a 2013 BMW F31 N20 F series DME using the Xhorse VVDI BIMTool pro programmer.

 

We’re using the BIM Tool ECU adapter which is different to the vvdi prog bmw adapter (Read VVDI Prog Read BMW N20 N13 ISN with MOE Cable No Soldering)

Follow the wiring diagram to connect DME with vvdi bim tool

Select the correct ECU. It is an F series N20 so that’s the MEVD 17.2.9

and then we have the ISN.

so it works. Just in case anybody wants to know you can read the isn from one of these DMEs with vvdi bim tool pro.
