  Today we are going to read the ISN code from a 2013 BMW F31 N20 F series DME using the   Xhorse VVDI BIMTool pro   programmer.   We’re using the BIM Tool ECU adapter which is different to the vvdi prog bmw adapter (Read  VVDI Prog Read BMW N20 N13 ISN with MOE Cable No Soldering ) Follow the wiring diagram to connect DME with vvdi bim tool Select the correct ECU. It is an F series N20 so that’s the MEVD 17.2.9 Read ECU ISN communicating 100 percent press ok to save and then we have the ISN. so it works.   I got a notification about the latest firmware and software 1.8 for the   xhorse vvdi bimtool pro   and thought I would have a go at getting the ISN read feature to work again. After some messing about it finally worked.   and we’ll see if we can read the isn’s from the dmes on the bench with bim tool pro with the new update.
